The Riders are currently scouting for a creative, driven individual to join our Marketing team! This year marks our 110th anniversary and we are hosting the biggest party of the year, the 108th Grey Cup Championship game and festival! This is a great time to join the Rider family and be a part of making Grey Cup history.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, this individual will be responsible for providing social and digital media support for the Grey Cup and will work closely with the Grey Cup Marketing Specialist.
The successful candidate will need to have strong time management skills, a creative mind and a passion for social media and communication.
While specializing in Grey Cup content, this position is joining a highly creative team boasting videographers, content producers and a graphic designer.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop a digital content strategy
Communicate via social channels in an informative and enthusiastic manner
Execute monthly content calendar requirements across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Manage the Grey Cup Festival website
Attend and cover all Grey Cup press related events (scrums, conferences, briefings)
Develop engagement strategies to fuel excitement for the Grey Cup and Festival
File organization and meta tagging of photos and video
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
2-3 years of post-secondary study towards communication, journalism, sports management or a sports related degree
Proficient in communication, with a specific understanding of how to write / communicate on various social platforms. Knowledge of CP Style conventions is a plus.
Experience working with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
Detail oriented with great time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Ability to analyze social media data and organize into actionable information
Up to date with culture and content (sports, music, movies), and emerging industry trends
An in-depth understanding of the CFL game, our team and Rider Nation
Availability to work irregular hours including game days
Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud (editing, resizing, exporting)
