About the role
We are looking for a Product Marketing Director to join our team!
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Product Marketing Director is responsible for strategic and tactical seasonal product marketing plans.

Brand Packaging :
Be the category expert with deep and broad knowledge of consumer insights, competitive landscape and emergent trends. Maintain current and active knowledge of all innovation and launch performance for the brand's competitors;
Understand the brand loyalty program members consumption habits to provide strategic recommendations for product development;
Partner with product management to help shape the product roadmap based on market research and feedback;
Lead all product marketing and packaging initiatives in line with brand positioning;
Develop core and seasonal product positioning and overview packaging design;
Create new product launch content and support our marketing team in communicating externally via related campaigns;
Ensure deployment of product and communication using proper and consistent brand positioning;
Maintain project timelines and follow-up with internal teams, agencies and other partners as necessary to ensure all deadlines are met;
Partner with our Sales team to brief and train them on how to communicate and sell the tea experience and value of our products;
Lead quarterly category reviews with Management team reporting on strategy, aligned performance metrics, competitive analysis, etc.;
Create new brand guidelines in collaboration with the creative director.
Collaborate with the wholesale team to create marketing programs and support wholesale key accounts;
Lead the implementation of a new web section for the corporate and wholesale network;
Equip our wholesale teams with clear product messaging that will be leveraged across all wholesale channels;
Develop the packaging strategy for all sku's for wholesale.
Social Responsibility :
Develop and ensure the proper deployment of the DAVIDsTEA social responsibility program;
Be the gatekeeper of internal sustainability guidelines
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent field;
Minimum of 10 years progressive consumer marketing experience working with strong brands;
Proven track record in developing, leading, and executing strategic marketing plans;
Experience working within specialty retail marketing;
Strategic, analytic and creative thinker that focuses on results;
Ability to integrate information across a variety of sources and translate it into an effective strategy;
Excellent organizational, influencing, and planning skills;
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, both in French and English;
Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and various levels of management;
