  • As Senior Product Manager , you will support directors in product management and executive team in the day to day product portfolio management by understanding the entire product line and associated technologies;
  • maintaining a competitive product database; supporting sales and support groups; interfacing with engineering to bring new products to market;
  • and being a primary technical champion to the customer facing side of the business at new product introduction. You will also manage complete product portfolio / solutions, including managing the investments in programs / projects and the teams required to ensure target profitability.

    Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business domain. MBA is a plus.
  • Expert in projection applications, markets and technology
  • 5-10+ years experience as a product manager, and solutions related would be a bonus
  • Proven product management, customer focus track record, and market strategy development
  • Strong knowledge / experience with projection, particularly with 3DLP and 1DLP / 3LCD market and applications. Additionally, knowledge of the processing and infrastructure associated with projection applications would an asset.
  • Expertise, knowledge and passion for proactively finding solutions to solve complex issues, working with plenty of data and market information, as well as articulating and presenting well
  • Familiarity with some / all key market segments including theme parks, location based entertainment, rental / staging, museums, projection mapping solutions for both indoor and outdoor, and other fixed installations
  • Additional Skills

  • Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and market needs into clear and concise technical specifications and user needs into clear and concise user stories
  • Strong business skills and judgment : ability to assess business and technology trends
  • Proven background and practical experience in developing, managing and delivering products / projects including the ability to create URD (User requirement documents);
  • experience performing competitive analysis, as well as feature / function prioritization and assessment

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with OEM / ODM suppliers is an added benefit
  • Leadership skills : willingness and ability to initiate and drive activities and to work collaboratively
  • Self-starter and self-sufficiency are key : must be able to drive a project from conceptual stage to product plan with minimal input and supervision
