THE &CO AGENCY
The &CO model is built on three pillars : creativity, agility, and guidance. As our Accounting Clerk, you’ll work in the Administration department, under the supervision of our Finance officer.
You’ll be in charge of billing, collections, and monitoring customer agreements. You’ll be proud of the projects you deliver, you’ll surpass yourself, you’ll be impressed with what you achieve and, above all, you’ll feel gratified by the difference you make.
As part of your daily tasks, you will :
Open customer files using our accounting software
Analyze, prepare, and issue documents associated with accounts (including invoices, inventory statements, statements of account, and other financial statements) using both computerized and manual systems
Ensure quality control of invoices
Manage petty cash
Produce end-of-month accounting reports and files-in-progress
Manage data related to currency fluctuations
Manage transactions (such as supplier and customer accounts, orders and invoices) by recording them in a register or enter on the computer, then checking and / or reconciling them
Compile budget data and documents from revenue and expenditure estimates, and from previous budgets
Prepare periodic cost statements or reports
Calculate costs, overhead, and other expenses associated with estimates, quotes, and price lists
Manage collection for overdue accounts, through email and telephone contact
Process payments made by cheque, credit card (Moneris platform), and direct deposit
Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relationships, and resolve problems
Perform other related office duties ( word processing, record keeping and filing, faxing and photocopying)
You definitely have :
Perfect command of both French and English (written and spoken)
Mastery of the MS Office suite
Experience with accounting software
3 years’ experience (minimum) in a similar position
DEC or DEP in accounting, or equivalent
Absolute respect for confidentiality
