  • What You’ll Do The Role

  • Work with both internal and external customers to sell and promote the company’s brand and products with ownership of specifically assigned product lines.
  • Fielding, qualifying, and executing on inbound opportunities including estimating and preparing proposals.
  • Routing inbound opportunities to the sales team for further development and closure.
  • Pursuing information and initiatives which will benefit the sales team including sourcing new sales opportunities through both inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Regularly mining the company’s business tracking tools (CRM) to ensure accuracy and timely follow up on assigned opportunities.
  • Assist with maintaining accuracy of customer and prospect lists.
  • Read and interpret engineered specifications and create proposals for customers to meet project closing deadlines.
  • Consult with engineers, as required, to clarify specifications and to determine what exact equipment needs to be bid.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time consistent with this position and the job description and duties set out herein.
  • What You Need

  • Minimum 1-year successful sales experience in a related industry.
  • Some related college or university courses preferred.
  • Excellent computer and phone skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ensure all company documents are accurate, professional, spell checked, and aesthetically pleasing for all our customers, and suppliers.
  • Follow all Company Health and Safety Policies and Guidelines and Privacy Policies.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in BC, be available for work.
  • Present a professional image to the Company’s customers and suppliers maintaining the highest ethical standard of conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with your team and other departments and be dedicated to always putting the customer first on order to achieve our common goal of being a dominant force in the markets we serve.
  • Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Lifting or moving up to 30lbs. may be required.
