About This Opportunity
Birchwood Professional Centre is seeking a family physician to join their collaborative team of two family physicians, one resident, one family practice nurse, a nurse practitioner, and two part-time psychologists.
The physicians in this practice provide office-based primary care, participate in the in-patient rota at Valley Regional Hospital (VRH), and offer evening appointments.
Some minor procedures are performed on-site, while more significant procedures can be performed at nearby VRH. Physicians also have an opportunity to work as a preceptor with medical students and residents as well.
Overhead costs are shared and front office staff and office manager are employees of the physicians. The electronic medical record (EMR) is Med Access.
