We are hiring! The Construction Manager is an integral part of our Construction Management Team. This position is based out of Alexandria, VA.

and will have focused support to National Park Service and other Federal work in the Washington D.C. area.

How will you contribute to the team?

Provides construction management responsibilities on projects

Responsible for the compilation of construction data and the preparation of reports.

Coordinates operation within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.

Maintain excellent relationships with client, architects / engineers, and contractors

Manage project schedule from inception to close out

Lead project job-site meetings

Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications

Review and approve of contractor monthly requisitions and invoices

Efficient change order management and cost control

Report on project issues and providing status updates

Perform other duties as may be required.

What will you contribute?

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.

With Associate’s Degree, eight year of related experience. Without a degree, ten years of related experience is required.

National Park Service construction management experience preferred

Federal construction management experience required

Effective leadership for managing construction management activities

Ability to take charge and effectively manage contractors to meet project schedule

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations

The ability to work well with others, and willingness to learn in a team environment

Strong computer skills, experience w / MS Windows Office, Primavera P6, etc.
