    We are always looking for high-energy and versatile Parts Coordinators to join our team! Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ordering, tracking and maintaining the parts inventory in the collision centre.

    Your Key Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, track and maintain parts inventory.
  • Post and update inventory records.
  • Sort and verify packing slips prior to entering parts into the inventory control system.
  • Entry of all receiving documents into inventory system.
  • Receive requests for parts via phone and email.
  • Assist with front counter customers as required.
  • Assist with back counter (internal service associates) as required.
  • Enter orders in order entry system.
  • Assist in processing warranty claims.
  • Keep accurate customer records / files.
  • Work with counter staff to ensure seamless customer service for the customer.
  • Maintain daily vehicle logs.
  • Allocate parts to work orders in the collision centre.
  • Work with vendors to allocate parts, including coordinating parts ordering, arrival, and drop off.
  • Shipping / receiving and picking / stocking auto parts.
  • Maintain order integrity by verifying parts being delivered are accurately captured on the invoice.
  • Assist in processing invoicing for parts orders.
  • Process shipping labels and freight quotes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers by delivering efficient and friendly service.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • 1 year of experience working in a parts person / inventory control capacity. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in an autobody or dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of schematic systems preferred.
  • Fundamental computer skills are required.
  • Preferred working knowledge and / or interest in automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include : internal engine, suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc.
  • Functional literacy and capability of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts.
  • Passion for automotive parts and or aftermarket industry.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work overtime to meet customer demands.
  • Must wear safety footwear at all times.
  • Valid Drivers license and safe driving record.
