About the role

The new Ops & Planning Finance team is looking for a Product Owner - OPL Finance

YOUR ROLE :

Under the supervision of the Manager Ops & Planning Finance, the Product Owner will be responsible for "End to End" of the financial solutions implemented and actively participating in the implementation of financial cloud applications.

Specifically, the Oracle Fusion ERP & EPM Cloud Financial Applications. In addition, the Product owner will be actively involved in the financial transformation of Intact by participating in the different phases of the projects, in the configuration of cloud applications and subsequently maintaining and supporting these same applications.

The Product owner will also have to support the various stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and propose strategies to find solutions to obstacles and contribute to the achievement of established business objectives by using his financial and technical knowledge.

Main responsibilities :

As part of the implementation of cloud applications, the Product owner

  • Acts as the team resource-person and represents the functional part of the project
  • Understands business processes and systems as well as masters the different data flows
  • Participates in the configuration of cloud applications, establishes tests and documents the results
  • Collects, analyzes and quantifies data in order to validate the integrity and accuracy according to the different systems and sources
  • Communicate solutions and gains approval from stakeholders and experts
  • Ensures that the requirements are understood and respected
  • Documents the procedures as an administrator for the production and maintenance of the applications
  • Coordinates the management of defects during the project implementation and contributes to the acceptance testing efforts (UAT) and facilitates the work of business partners
  • Participates with the controls and governance team (52-109) to implement controls as part of the implementation of cloud applications
  • As part of the maintenance of cloud applications, the Product owner

  • Learns about Oracle Fusion suite products and becomes the expert in cloud financial applications for the Intact finance community
  • Updates and changes the metadata, manages security and accesses, user support (daily and monthly)
  • Manages the problems and the performance of the systems and finds the source of the problem or be able to use the tools offered to find a solution
  • Develops reports and forms to meet user needs
  • Validation of updates from system suppliers and validation of impacts on applications and users if applicable
  • Collaborates with internal and external auditors on the processes and controls carried out on the applications as an administrator
  • Your skills :

  • BAC in business administration, accounting, finance or computer systems management
  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle Fusion systems - EPM & ERP is a major asset
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and corporate finance. CPA or CFA designation is an asset
  • Knowledge of visualization / reporting tools such as Power BI, FRS or Smartview
  • In-depth knowledge of the MS Excel tool
  • Experience in the world of insurance
  • Experience with 52-109 / SOX controls
  • Experience working in a corporate finance team
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with large, national scale projects
