Are you a Bookkeeper looking for just 1-2 days a week of work? Better Choice Staffing is looking for an independent and proactive bookkeeping professional to join our Property Management client in a permanent capacity at their office in the Tillicum area.
Job Responsibilities :
Prepare cheques, payments, and bank deposits
Manage accounts payables, including preparing tax payments
Manage accounts receivables - which include tracking promissory notes (mortgages) interest calculation and investment accounts
Prepare and process payrolls
Allocate and post financial transaction, transfer data to general ledger
Reconcile and balance all accounts
Draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement and balance sheet)
Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
Experience required :
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices, generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Simply accounting
