The Client

Our client is a Canadian law firm that specializes in helping people with legal services in these areas : real estate transactions, setting up corporations, friendly divorce, and estate planning.

The company makes it easy for customers to understand. Their number 1 priority is making sure that customers are cared for and understood.

The Gig

The client is looking for a Social Media Manager. The candidate will be responsible for administering the company’s social media marketing and advertising.

Administration includes but is not limited to :

  • Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting
  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation
  • Content management (including website)
  • SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
  • Cultivation of leads and sales
  • Reputation / review management
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a social media manager, digital marketing manager, community manager or content marketing manager.

    A Day in the Life

  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including the following :
  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio / podcast).
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a Social way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
  • Develop and expand community and / or influencer outreach efforts.
  • Oversee design (ie : Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
  • Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with the company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
  • Create and manage an online review funnel for building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate the ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Requirements include :

  • Noise-canceling headset
  • High speed and reliable internet
  • Updated PC or laptop running Windows 10 / 8 or Mac OS
  • A quiet and comfortable workspace
  • Minimum Internet speed of 10Mbps
  • Digitally savvy and a tech enthusiast, willing to try and learn new platforms
  • A backup Internet connection and computer
  • At least 3 professional references

    You have

  • Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills with a neutral accent
  • Demonstrate the ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • A team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie : content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
  • Possess knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of Search and Social.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
  • Must be amenable to work on a full-time basis during US Eastern business hours
  • At least 2 years of experience as a social media manager, digital marketing manager, community manager, or content marketing manager
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective

  • Experience in using Infusionsoft
  • Must have experience in using Wordpress
  • Must have experience in Click Funnels, Facebook Ads, social media marketing and SEO for at least 2 years
  • Graphic design experience is preferred
