Job Summary :

Spectrum Health Care is Hiring Experienced Foot Care Nurses. Nurses will be working in clinic settings, retirement homes, LTC homes, and client’s private homes in Burlington, ON.

  • Duties and Responsibilities :

    The Foot Care Nurse is responsible for ensuring that the quality of the Foot Care services to patients in the community and facility setting is compliant with legislation and standards of practice.

  • Conduct foot assessments continually, provide a foot care treatment
  • Electronic scheduling and documentation
  • Adheres to the safe work / risk management policies and procedures of Spectrum Health Care
  • Works within the Ethical Practice Framework of Spectrum Health Care
  • Understands the range of services provided by each division of the Spectrum family and how it contributes to our model of Total Client Care
  • Continually assesses, anticipates, identifies and responds to new and changing needs of clients and communicates available Total Client Care resources to clients when appropriate
  • Qualifications :

  • RN / RPN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certificate is required
  • Prior experience in foot care is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid G driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle
  • Able to travel within the assigned work area and must have flexible work hours
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Computer knowledge and has the ability to learn proprietary software. Proficiency in Microsoft Word preferred
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
