Our client, a Big-5 Canadian Banking Institution, is looking to fill multiple ENTRY LEVEL Back / Middle Office positions at multiple locations (new / recent grads are welcome!).
Pay Rate : $16 to $21 / hr (role-dependent)
Locations : Markham, Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal
ALL POSITIONS ARE CONTRACT BASED (2 months to 1 year with the possibility of extension depending on business needs / performance)
Positions : Back Office Support (Includes but not limited to Data Entry Clerks / Operation Officers / Service Officers, etc.
Middle Office support
Must have good credit history and clear criminal record*
Job Qualifications :
Previous experience in related fields (customer service, data entry, administrative support, banking / financial services)
Intermediate proficiency including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Access
Fluent verbal and written communication skills
50 WPM Typing Speed
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
Excellent organization, collaboration, and time management skills
Ability to learn new applications and techniques quickly and effectively
Completion of CSC, IFIC, CPA or any other relevant designations
Previous banking experience is an asset
Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
VBA, Macro experience is an asset
Working knowledge of credit cards, personal banking products, mutual funds, mortgages, FX products, payment processing, etc.
High school education or GED required
Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field preferred
