Based on our customers’ needs, opportunities are expected to be available starting immediately; positions are regular full time Professional Engineer status at senior levels.
At this time, this solicitation is for the following position, which may be changed to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to) :
Work under the Candu Energy QA and Project QA programs in compliance with CSA N286.
Coordinate flaw replica analysis (metrology, e.g. FRILS or REMAS) results with NDE analysis results.
Contribute to Final Inspection Results and Reporting.
Effectively and efficiently communicate with team members with good interpersonal skills for the work team and inter-disciplines.
Qualifications (include, but not limited to) :
Graduation from a recognized University and a minimum of 10 years pertinent technological experience.
Past or current qualification as an Fuel Channel Inspection Analyst, with experience working with AFCIS, ANDE or CIGAR fuel channel inspection data.
Past experience as a Fuel Channel Inspection Acquisition Expert will be considered an asset.
Experience with typical Candu customers’ Human Performance principals and tools.
Knowledge of established engineering design principles and methods.
Have a good working knowledge of shop and field practice.
Expert knowledge of Candu Fuel Channel design and Fuel Channel degradation mechanisms.
Knowledgeable in Inspection Data Management methodology.
Valid CGSB Level II UT Certification
Valid CGSB Level II ET Certification
Exhibit excellent and effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
