guiding the Food Service team with analytical insights by interpreting findings in data to develop fact- based, actionable recommendations to support business objectives with a deep understanding of what delights our consumers across the Professional channels.
The work will span deep qualitative and quantitative immersion, multi-source ideation, trend research and gaining in depth industry understanding.
Provide frameworks that clarify Innovation & Renovation strategies (knowing where to play; define what is new & better; seize opportunities).
Partner closely with the insight, analytics and marketing teams to frame business and marketing questions, and to help design and execute measurement and learning plans to influence key business decisions.
Support Marketing & Product Development teams to identify breakthrough opportunities to drive long term, profitable and sustainable growth through successful I&R pipeline.
Envision, create and execute consumer learning priorities to address dynamic needs of the brand and key categories.
Design, manage and execute consumer research projects (both with and without 3rd party research partners) using a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies / algorithms.
Analyze large data sets and develop custom models to uncover trends, patterns and insights.
Able to work across breadth of functions / businesses and provide depth of understanding, efficient / decisive decision making, multiple and / or tight deadlines associated with evolving opportunities and planning timelines.
A Bachelor’s Degree in in Social Sciences, Statistics, Market Research, Mathematics, Decision Science, Data Science, or related fields is an asset
5 - 10 years’ experience leveraging advanced analytical techniques to build practical, data- driven programs for improving business KPI’s
Exceptional consumer sensitivity, empathy and intuition, combined with understanding of market dynamics and trends (technological, socio-
economic, environmental, etc.)
A combination of strategic, intuitive and quantitative skills a puzzle solver, who enjoys spending time with consumers, listening to them, seeing the world thru their eyes, creatively sharing their stories and linking all of that back to the business in a way has direct impact on business decision
Natural curiosity always asking the next question and seeking to understand at the nuanced level to spark a new idea.
Ability to synthesize learnings / implications from multiple data sources into well formulated perspective can tell a story, an influential communicator and presenter to business audience.
Demonstrated high performance and ability to manage high priority, complex and strategic initiatives.
Food Service experience highly preferred.
