What you’ll do :

You will represent the voice of Food within the Loyalty Program development and implementation. With the anticipated launch of the Loyalty Program driven by Customer Experience (CX), you will collaborate cross-functionally and act as a lead Food Loyalty subject matter expert (SME) who will work directly with the Food teams.

You will collaborate with Food Category Managers (Centre Store, C-Store and Fresh Food), as well as Food Pharmacy and Liquor Operation Teams to identify business needs and considerations within each activated relevant Loyalty workstream.

You will be involved with each stage of the Loyalty Program build, including pilot delivery, through to full market launch, with the goals of increasing member engagement and sales through an enhanced Co-op value proposition to members.

You will represent the entire Food department including Fresh, Liquor, C-store and Pharmacy to ensure alignment across the entire program and delivery.

  • Loyalty Project : You will bring forward Food subject matter expertise for application on the Loyalty Project. You will actively contribute to each workstream within the Loyalty project delivery in a lead position for the Food department.
  • You will work with the Loyalty Manager to establish Food Loyalty objectives, in alignment with the overall Loyalty project objectives.

    You will execute project deliverables according to the project plan and timelines. You will maintain and refresh the Loyalty Program as part of the project to ensure the objectives of the Program are being reached.

  • Collaboration : You will participate in on-going engagement with Food leaders, Loyalty Manager and designated marketing lead to develop and operationalize offer strategy.
  • You will work closely with the Food Category Management teams to coordinate promos, vendor funding etc. in support and alignment of the Loyalty program.

    You will work with the Food, Pharmacy and Liquor Operations Teams to identify business needs and goals relative to the relevant Loyalty workstreams.

  • Stakeholder Relations : You will interact directly with the Food Departments at all levels, Loyalty Manager and third-party vendors to execute deliverables and ensure collaboration and consistency on Food strategies.
  • You will work with third party vendors to inform / contribute to vendor funding strategy, setting targets with category considerations.

    You will assist in establishing internal and external (vendor facing) processes that will be used within the Food team.

  • Knowledge and Training : You will become well versed in the Loyalty Project and is an ambassador for the project parameters.
  • You will work with CX to train stakeholders on the Loyalty Project, goals, and objectives. You will assist with rollout and training sessions to lend the Food team perspective to users.

    You will maintain ongoing list of refreshes’ needed to keep the audience engaged in the Loyalty program (continuous evolvement / improvement efforts).
