The Opportunity :
We’re looking for a Regional Director, Online Brokerage and Digital Wealth to join our Digital sales team.
Reporting to the VP, Online Brokerage and Digital Wealth, the Regional Director role is accountable for the development and implementation of a sales and training strategy that effectively promotes Aviso Digital Wealth’s platforms, Qtrade Investor and Virtual Wealth, within a regional sales channel as defined by the management of Aviso’s Online Brokerage and Digital Wealth.
This role serves as the key in-field representative for Aviso’s digital wealth solutions to a variety of credit union partners and wealth management firms.
The ability to build new relationships as well as solidify existing ones will also be key. As a dynamic leader in the organization, the successful candidate’s primary mandate will be to generate and support sales within our distribution network.

What your day looks like :
Act as the key in field relationship manager and business development representative for Aviso digital wealth to a defined regional sales channel
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to meet and exceed agreed-upon sales targets, consistent with our overall business strategies
Arranges and conducts one-on-one, group and / or branch meetings with partner’s front-line sales staff, financial advisors and sales leaders to promote Qtrade Investor and Virtual Wealth
Prepare and deliver presentations to sales leaders and advisors that improve their ability to sell Qtrade Investor and digital advice and enhances their wealth management offering within their organization
Deliver webinars and live WebEx training sessions
Establish and build consultative relationships with the retail and wealth leaders within partnering financial institutions positioning the benefits of online brokerage and digital advice to their organization and their client base
Work with key internal stakeholders and manage internal relationships
Promote additional direct to client do-it-yourself wealth management offerings available through Aviso
Organize and promote special events, and reward and recognition programs, campaigns
Represent Aviso at financial institution partner events such as awards evenings, branch functions, client evenings, etc.
Involved in special projects as required; and manage expenses within an approved budget
Your experience and skills :
Must have a minimum of seven years’ investment-related sales and service experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a wealth management or online brokerage organization, with increasing sales responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or General Management and CFA, CFP or CIM / FCSI designations preferred
Proven track record of proactive sales results and growth in territory
Strong territory and time management skills
Familiarity with online brokerage and digital advice is critical
Knowledge of and background in mutual fund products and sales considered an asset
Strong technical and problem-solving skills related to the investment, tax, and legal issues associated with investment products
Capable of integrating knowledge into solutions that meet the needs of our partners’ clients, while helping the advisor and the organization develop strategies that allow them to capitalize on these opportunities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on presentation skills;
Self-starter mentality with lots of initiative
Ability to travel extensively within territory of responsibility
Ideally based in Winnipeg, Regina or Saskatoon
