Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the SalesForce.

com platform. The candidate will serve as the SalesForce.com subject matter expert and keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

  • Management and setup of users, profiles, user permissions, workflows, fields, and other application related management
  • Support the multiple departmental teams with customized reporting and dashboards
  • Create and manage reports
  • Manage system change without interruption to users
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate leads, contact and accounts; performing mass uploads and updates of data as required;
  • removing unnecessary fields and data

  • Support the sales team and management with forecasting
  • Research changes in upcoming releases of Salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts regarding configuration, process, workflow, and reporting
  • Key contact for troubleshooting and incident management
  • Analyze issues (including data and processes) and identify opportunities for system and process optimization
  • Handle on-going customization / alteration of saleforce.com
  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed
  • Maintain data, systems, security, and integrity
  • Performs / participates in data validation and system testing
  • Works with business resources in process development
  • Provides end-user training and support
  • Education & Experience :

  • University level degree or relevant work experience
  • 3 5 years of Salesforce Administrative Experience
  • Salesforce.com administrator certification required
  • Proven ability to utilize salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool
  • Experience in a similar industry is an asset
  • Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
  • Experience creating business requirements documents (BRD’s)
  • Sales financial planning experience is an asset
  • Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard salesforce.com reporting functionality
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
