ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (A / R) SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Vice President, FInance, the Accounts Receivable (A / R) Supervisor is responsible for managing and providing hands-on experience to all functionsrelated to A / R and Collections.

Manage all functions related to A / R and Collections, company-wide, including support for cash applications, collections activities, establish credit limits and credit risk monitoring
Engage with customer to review accounts, DSO metrics, address discrepancies, and resolve any escalations
Supervise and provide support for Accounts Receivable Specialist(s) while developing and enforcing policy guidelines to ensure compliance
Assist Controller with preparation of month-end management reports and year-end audit engagements
Apply daily cash receipts to Customer account invoices
Reconcile A / R accounts & take remedial action on short-paid invoices
Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT / Wire, credit & debit card payments and cheques.
Communication and / or correspondence with customers in a fast paced and high-volume department
Provide customer service regarding payment issues report disputes, make adjustments / small balance write off, customer accounts reconciliations, resend invoices & distributeaccount statements as required
5+ years of related experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections role
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar A / R supervisory position
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Must have A / R ERP experience
Microsoft Dynamics D365, MS Dynamics Navision experience is considered an asset
Proven experience with building teams and change management
Demonstrated leadership ability to ensure consistent priorities are achieved
Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred
Experience dealing with major food industry brands preferred
Excellent organizational, attention to detail and planning skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities; high achiever.
