Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Reporting Analyst for the Data Analytics team at Bayshore. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

The team member will have the ability to develop complex and appealing visualizations using a variety of BI Tools based on tightly established client turnaround times.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation of new reporting processes and procedures as required, such as moving to automated reporting methods
  • Analyze reports for trends and variances across the programs and communicate findings
  • Design and Prepare monthly, bimonthly or quarterly business reports including metrics / volumes and significant case summaries to clients using a variety of tools, including;
  • Excel, Power BI, SSRS, PowerPoint

  • Convert data to usable information to drive growth, individual contract KPI’s and increased productivity
  • Act as the subject matter expert for specific Bayshore Specialty Rx Ltd data sets and act as a liaison with Decision Support and Clients as required
  • Test and debug reporting and analysis using standard tools including but not limited to Excel, Access, CRM and other database management tools / systems
  • Interpret data and develop actionable recommendations for business leaders
  • Conduct data mapping exercises for client specific projects
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Work in partnership with IT and Business Areas to support multiple projects
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries and reporting needs efficiently as well as adapt to rapidly evolving client requirements
  • Participate in ongoing internal and / or external continuing education activities
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Responsible for completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incident

  • Must be able to identify and report Adverse Event’s to Health Canada, Med Info and enter into source system and third party systems
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Complete other tasks as requested
  • REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

  • This position reports to the Manager of Data & Analytics, Patient Support Services
  • Job Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Statistics or Data Analysis, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • 5+ years’ experience with preparing presentations and visualizations in Excel, PowerPoint, and other BI tools. Power BI experience is an asset
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • 5+ years’ experience working with complex data sets
  • 5+ years’ experience in analyzing and presenting results to stakeholders and clients
  • Data Mining and an in-depth knowledge of Data Science techniques is an asset
  • Knowledge of SQL query writing and SQL reporting services is an asset
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical data is an asset
