DEPARTMENT SUMMARY : This department is responsible for the financial and operational reporting of residential mortgage loans for all proprietary and administered mortgage portfolios for Investors Group.
In addition, the department is responsible for the financial and operational reporting for the residential mortgage assets of London Life on behalf of Great West Life.
POSITION SUMMARY : The Mortgage Administrator II is responsible for processing mortgage-related file information and maintaining records for the entire range of Investors Group and London Life mortgage products.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
Handling various complex mortgage-related clerical duties.
Contacting various stakeholders by phone, fax and / or email to communicate information and respond to queries.
Providing research and analysis support for escalated files.
Verifying and generating various reports upon request.
1 - 2 years of experience in similar administrative duties.
Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of mortgage products including demonstrated mathematical and writing documents.
Fluency in both French and English, orally and in writing, and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines; adaptability and flexibility.
Strong knowledge of MS Office software, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
