Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Provides exceptional front-line support to the business and for staff; responds to routine inquiries and provides information and assistance on a variety of HR queries
  • Provides effective onboarding for new staff, including facilitating first day orientation in person and through video conferencing as well as completing the new employee set-up process
  • Creates offer letters in Onboarding system, contracts / contract addendums, and departure packages; extends offers to selected candidates, and coordinates the return of required documentation
  • Manages client notifications process for changes in employment terms
  • Owns the data accuracy and processing of HR transactions, including uploading service tickets, following up as required and auditing data quality
  • Builds constructive and effective business relationships throughout the organization and delivers optimal customer solutions
  • Assists with ad-hoc reporting; extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources, analyze reports to identify business trends
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks on an as needed basis
  • Job Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree in business or similar followed by a minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, excelling in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Expert level user of MS Excel®, MS Word®, and proficient level user of MS PowerPoint®
  • Proactive and solutions oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in Database Management and HRIS systems is essential (Oracle experience an asset)
  • Strong understanding of HR legislation, processes and best practices
  • Keen attention to detail; excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, written, and organizational skills
  • CPHR designation or working towards designation
