La personne titulaire est responsable de la prospection, de la sollicitation, du développement et du maintien de la relation d’affaires auprès d’une clientèle composée principalement de petites et moyennes entreprises dans les secteurs de la santé, et ce, afin de promouvoir et de vendre les produits et services offerts dans un objectif de croissance des affaires.

En s'appuyant sur ses connaissances techniques du domaine d'affaires de même que sur les encadrements en vigueur, elle représente, négocie et engage l’entreprise dans le cadre d’ententes complexes ayant des impacts importants pour la Caisse Desjardins du Réseau de la santé.

Elle assure également la cohérence et l’équilibre entre les objectifs de vente, la gestion saine et prudente des risques, la rentabilité du portefeuille et la satisfaction des membres et clients et des partenaires.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure the development of new business, primarily with non-member business clients through networking, prospecting and solicitation activities in the life sciences and professional healthcare sector.
  • Develop an industrial and commercial clientele composed mainly of small and mid-sized businesses in the health sectors with medium-term financing needs of $500,000 or more.
  • Establish and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential business members by advising them on how to reach their financial objectives.
  • Carry out the appropriate financial analyses in collaboration with dedicated support resources at the Desjardins Business centre, and propose innovative and competitive financing solutions to the larger-scale businesses in major commercial and industrial markets in the target areas of activity (life sciences and professional healthcare sector).
  • In collaboration with the Desjardins Business centre, provide financing to clients under your responsibility and ensure follow-up according to current standards and practices.
  • Offer a comprehensive service to a targeted clientele, and subsequently refer the client to the relevant caisse’s financial planning team or, in conjunction with the team, refer the client to a subsidiary for the service delivery.
  • Contribute to the caisse’s business development objectives by taking responsibility for implementing the appropriate means to achieve its business financing objectives.
  • Other working conditions

  • Schedule : 35 hours a week. Depending on the clientele’s needs, you may be required to work Saturday evenings
  • Travel in the greater Montreal region will be required

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance option) or a related field or a graduate diploma in a related field
  • At least four years of experience as a business financial advisor
  • Certificate in administration or a related field
  • At least six years of experience as a business financial advisor
  • Any other combination of training and experience related to the job description may be accepted, if the applicant undertakes training related to the job.

    This is to be determined with the candidate based on current training.

  • Expertise Entreprise Desjardins certification (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
  • Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of business financing and credit management standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of all business products and services and those offered by Desjardins caisses, subsidiaries and distribution networks, as well as those of competitors
  • Knowledge of the life sciences and professional healthcare sector
  • Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards related to the products and services offered by the Desjardins Business centre
  • Independent speaker, upper intermediate knowledge of English
  • Desjardins Cross-sector skills
