We are recruiting a Maintenance Superintendent for our key site in Kemaman which processes lime and limestone. This role is responsible for the overall machine reliability and efficiency to support production requirements.
This role requires someone with strong passion to drive a team of seasoned maintenance staffs to deliver on ambitious operation objective.
Lead, facilitate and monitor quality of work in all aspects of maintenance and engineering function including work carried out by both internal and external team.
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly designed, selected, installed and commissioned.
Ensure that the Asset Register and stock items are maintained accurately.
Review and keep records of deficiencies noted during corrective maintenance.
Maintain and advise on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items and equipment rental.
Provide technical guidance and consult with all maintenance department staffs concerning equipment, work related problems, advance troubleshooting and equipment redesign.
Work closely with the production team and other departments in connection with mechanical and engineering function.
Maximize equipment / machine uptime and reduce maintenance expenditures.
Perform root cause failure mode analysis for all equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Perform any such comparable duties as required by the Company from time to time and shall responds positively.
The successful candidate will have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant engineering field. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cement, Lime, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry, strong knowledge of quality, engineering standards and government regulations, and experienced in leading a team.
It is expected the candidate able to challenge the norm and make the appropriate changes to continually improve maintenance standards.
