The Sr. Specialist of Customer Marketing is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the customer marketing strategy among a group of select Distributors with business operations in the US and Canada.

The Sr. Specialist leads local / regional level executions, and measures the success of campaigns, events, trade shows, new product introductions, and portfolio growth initiatives by defining and reporting on key performance indicators.

Span of responsibility includes supporting growth of distributor e-commerce platforms through digital marketing, category management, and product enrichment initiatives.

Specifically, for this role, the Sr. Specialist, Customer Marketing will utilize market knowledge to generate demand with select end-user targets in collaboration with the sales team.

  • Provide thought leadership to contribute to the development of Distributor marketing strategies aligned with both the Global Marketing and distributor business objectives.
  • Lead development and approvals of Distributor marketing calendar plans aligned to the defined Distributor marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement all Distributor marketing activities (digital / traditional) with excellence through internal and external partners.
  • Ensure translation of applicable materials into French language as required.

  • Support sales enablement for the Distributor with the development of custom sales collaterals and coordination of sales training for new product launches.
  • Ensure translation of applicable materials into French language as required.

  • Plan and attend Distributor trade shows and events.
  • Manage budgets and approval of Distributor invoices affiliated with agreed upon marketing activities.
  • Manages product set-up and content enrichment related activities for all Distributors within scope of responsibility.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
  • Job experience

  • 3+ years of Marketing or Customer / Trade / Channel Marketing experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital marketing required.
  • Experience in leveraging paid, owned, and earned media within marketing plans.
  • Knowledge and skills

  • Bilingual in both English and French (oral and written fluency).
  • Knowledge of how to effectively manage the relationship between different stakeholders to influence results.
  • A strong understanding of digital, traditional and geofencing marketing.
  • An understanding of e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators, both leading and lagging.
  • Proven ability to prioritize to deliver results.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage through organizational complexity.
  • Additional Requirements

    Travel required throughout the year to meet with customers, to attend and host trade shows and customer events.
