Job Description

The Travel Insurance team is looking for Software Engineers with several years of experience, an engineering mindset and a passion for designing, developing and improving software products.

You thrive on delivering resilient and scalable applications, with a focus on continuous delivery and agile principles. Creativity in solving problems is your strength.

You are always learning by using new tools and technologies. Communicating effectively is what you do!

What Work Will I be Doing?

We are in the process of transforming, and we’re looking for strong developers to learn and grow with us! Your responsibilities would include :

  • Working to come up with solutions to problems, translate user requirements into software requirements
  • Building code to deliver on requirements for new and existing clients
  • Developing new solutions and maintaining existing ones
  • Support rapid iteration and development
  • Helping to continuously improve tooling and processes
  • Participating in peer reviews
  • We need someone with the following qualifications :

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Technical Team Leadership experience
  • React, Redux, Node.js, ES6 Full stack
  • Micro Services, Restful APIs
  • Cloud Technologies
  • Jenkins, Concourse, Docker, SonarQube, Artifactory
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration
  • Other areas of expertise (nice-to-have) :

  • JIRA, Confluence
  • Knowledge of content management systems such as AEM
  • knowledge of .NET Technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#), MS SQL, SSRS Reporting
