The candidate will be responsible for :
Assisting with the design of training programs, materials and tools that bridge the gap between theory and practical application for use in training sessions.
Developing initial and recurrent training programs / plans and schedules.
Coordinating the design, development, and delivery of training programs to support the immediate training needs, compliance, and organizational goals.
Facilitating classroom training.
Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of orientation training and providing the employee and supervisor with a documented Training Schedule.
Gathering feedback and suggestions from new and existing employees on current training methods
Coordinating and scheduling additional training i.e. classroom, On-the-Job (OJT), offsite, and online when required.
Ensuring employees complete all internal required training on a timely basis.
Preparing and submitting funding applications for training subsidies.
Updating training profiles and ensure all profiles are complete and accurate.
The successful candidate for this position should have :
Experience in a related field (HR, Business, Training and Development)
Minimum of one years’ experience working with adult learning principles, training concepts, policies, and practices
Experience in team facilitation, instruction, or training
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work individually with minimal supervision in a multi-task environment
Travel as required.
