We are looking for an Outside SALES Manager for BC Interior / North with direct experience selling into MINING Accounts and related Industrial accounts (Construction / Forestry).

Knowledge of Major Mine Equipment is required in this role. (Haul Trucks, Electric Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators).

Travel (windshield driving) is expected to be 60% to 70% a month

Responsibilities :

  • Develop strong customer relationships with the company’s existing major customers in the regional territory.
  • Prospect and cold call on new relationships, new accounts and aligned industry business opportunities.
  • Sales budgeting, maintenance of reporting systems, organization of selling efforts, strategies and general coordination of communication amongst the sales network
  • Customer service meetings reviewing backorder listing, actions plans and managing follow-up
  • Pricing management establishing and managing pricing strategies to achieve planned budget gross margin targets
  • Qualifications :

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with Mining SALES or related industrial accounts in an OUTSIDE SALES capacity.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and Knowledge of Major Mine Equipment (Haul Trucks, Electric Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators).
  • Top SALES performer with strong communication skill set; verbal and written.
  • Remuneration :

  • Base Salary depends on experience + commission (On target earnings +$100K annually)
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance plus gas card
