Accountabilities :

  • External prospecting and acquisition of new Life & Financial Services accounts to build a book of business
  • Convert referrals from, and build relationships with, personal lines & commercial lines coworkers in your branch
  • Refer your clients to the other lines of business (personal lines and commercial lines) in your branch
  • Attend client appointments, trade shows, meetings, and networking events as required in addition to meeting with walk-in clients at the branch
  • Meet specific sales targets focusing on consultative interactions with individuals, associations, and businesses
  • Provide client support and knowledge with respect to Life and Financial Services
  • Promote Western’s value-added services, resources & expertise
  • Obtain knowledge of competitor’s services / products and counter with enhanced products, processes, or expert advice
  • Remain current and develop your expertise in the industry and market area and maintain competitive edge

  • Full Life Insurance License LLQP
  • Passion to help people and provide exceptional client experience
  • Self-driven and determined to succeed
  • Demonstrated talent to grow and develop relationships with clients, coworkers, and your community
  • Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
  • Previous experience with insurance sales or external sales prospecting an asset
  • Hours : Full Time 37.5 hours / week
