The Applications Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing and debugging of data processing applications.
The developer will work on solutions manipulating IQVIA and client data assets for the purpose of integration into the IQVIA CRM systems or other systems / solutions.
Main Responsibilities :
Participate in assessing the feasibility of the solution.
Review and analyze solution requirements.
Provide effort estimates on development efforts.
Design and implement solutions to meet client specifications.
Follow internal processes to build, deploy, automate and transfer solutions to operational team.
Work closely with Technology Services team to ensure high client satisfaction of our solutions and support client requests and queries.
Perform unit testing and full systems testing, ensuring results meet customer requirements.
Prepare application(s) for release through the change control process.
Become a subject matter expert of the IQVIA CRM solution data interfaces.
Extend the capabilities of current IQVIA solutions via development and configuration.
Implement new clients on IQVIA technology solutions.
Education / Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
Have 2 - 3 years’ experience in analysis, design and application development working with relational databases.
Technical Requirements :
Relational Database experience (Oracle / MS SQL Server)
Knowledge and experience working with data warehousing, ETL and BI
Strong SQL knowledge and query performance tuning
Knowledge and experience using git version control system
Ability to work in Unix / Linux environment as well as Windows
Relational data modeling experience
Experience working with API Layers
Soft Skills Requirements :
Collaborative and strong communication skills in English (French is a plus).
