Contracts Analyst (HPC)

Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Contracts Analyst role will report to the HPC Business Manager, HPC Commercial.
The successful candidate will collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of confirmation and validation parameters.
Bachelor’s Degree or a diploma from an accredited university or college
Experience in contract administration or legal documentation strongly preferredExperience with Canadian natural gas or polypropylene contracts and confirmations are essentialUnderstanding and knowledge of energy contract terms, concepts, terminology, standards and industry agreements
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate clearly and accurately with all levels of organization
Key Activities and Responsibilities :
Preparation, processing and maintenance of confidential polypropylene sales agreementsSupport Sales Representatives with contract verbiage and ensure legal terms are in accordance to IPL’s overall contract termsWork with Customer Service Representatives to ensure that customer inquiries are prioritized and closedEnsure the proper approvals are collected on contracts in accordance with company policiesIdentify and work with legal on contracts with non-standard language termsCoordinate with multiple departments to provide internal and external customers with information regarding invoicing / settlement statements, contractual data and other ad-hoc reportsMaintain contracts database, documents archive and manage both physical and electronic files related to existing and new contractsParticipate in contract management working team as part of the overall HPC governance frameworkMonitor and support KPI’s outlined as part of HPC’s Business Analytics working teamWork with NGL contracts group to ensure contract practices are similar between both groups
Full time Monday-Friday
