Responsibilities :

  • Creating, producing and editing various complex documents including correspondence, proposals, presentations, and spreadsheets using advanced software features (Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and SharePoint);
  • Preparing expense reports;
  • Helping with special projects and ad hoc requests (at consultant's direction);
  • Maintaining / updating / organizing categories and data within team databases;
  • Interacting with external clients or their assistants;
  • Maintaining appointment schedules by planning and scheduling numerous meetings, conferences, and teleconferences;
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality working on sensitive / confidential material;
  • Composing correspondence from rough notes or independent knowledge of circumstances;
  • Organizing and prioritizing workload; managing multiple tasks, deliverables and projects;
  • Acting as a resource for software questions, research, and company processes;
  • Providing general administrative support including, mail distribution, emailing, faxing and photo copying, answering phones and filing
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when working on sensitive / confidential material;
  • Providing back-up support to the other administrative assistants on the admin team;
  • Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of best practice; and
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

    Required Experience :

  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar capacity is required;
  • Strong math aptitude and financial experience a must;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
  • Client focused and proven relationship building skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements, maintain accuracy and achieve deadlines under pressure;
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and take initiative;
  • Must have strong computer skills and be Advanced’ with the entire Microsoft Office Package.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Prior experience working within a Consulting practice would be an asset.
  • Education :

  • Post-Secondary degree or a combination of education and equivalent years of industry experience;
  • Office Administration Diploma or Certification would be a strong asset;
