Understand the PMC Security Management Program requirements, components & regulatory requirements
Understand emergency response measures for incidents on Oil Pipelines, HVP Pipelines, Facilities, & Storage facilities above ground & caverns
Participate in Emergency Response Plans, Tactical Plans, and mapping system.
Understand the scope and steps to update PMC’s regulated ERP’s, participate in the process and meetings with the service provider.
Understand the process and communications conducted as part of the Public consultation process and program
A basic understanding of PMC’s spill response equipment
Knowledge of incident response framework (ICS)
A basic understanding of requirements for ER exercises including the development of the exercises and execution of a table-top exercise
Responsible for using the tools, resources and forms that are required for incident response
A basic understanding of the site security assessments, security threat vulnerability assessment process & security threat response plans
Minimum 2nd year students’ enrolled in full-time studies in a post-secondary institution, working towards a bachelor degree in Business, Engineering and / or enrolled in an Emergency Management program
Candidates must be able to commit to the full 8-month term (September 2019- April 2020) to be considered for the program;
Preference will be given to students enrolled in a formal co-op program
Prior work experience is an asset;
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment;
Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills;
Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience using SharePoint is an asset
Proven flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions;
Excellent computer and communication skills and;
Ability to work well within a team environment and under minimal supervision

This is a 8 month term position beginning on September, 2019
Preference will be given to candidates returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
