Position Summary

The Software Engineering department is looking for a Junior Software Developer.

Our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software Accuro®EMR has the largest adoption in Canada and serves thousands of providers and millions of patients.

Our patient platform Medeo leverages that market penetration and connects patients to their healthcare providers. Our other supporting products round out a robust offering, connecting healthcare providers to their patients, their data and each other.

As we continue to build up new and exciting interactions between our products and other healthcare organizations in the industry, we are looking for a passionate leader who is motivated to be an integral driver of innovation in healthcare technologies in Canada.

As a fantastic Junior Software Developer, you should be eager to learn. You've gone through a period of education, and you're excited to see how your new skills match a role in the industry.

You're a good communicator, and you've had some experience in group or shared projects. These shared projects have set the groundwork for you to work in a team of like minded and enthusiastic teammates.

Success as Junior Software Developer is achieved by learning the codebase, learning how to work in a team, and contributing to the team's shared goals in the codebase.

  • Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements

    Role Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant development experience
  • Exposure toObject oriented programming languages such as Typescript and JavaWeb frameworks such as Angular and NestJSCode repositories such as GITRelational databases such as MS SQL and PostgreSQLTesting frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
  • Team Requirements

    As part of our team focused on Medeo Frontend development, experience with the following are critical :

  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Angular (v13+)
  • NGRX
  • Unit Testing such as Jest
  • Component Testing such as Cypress
  • In addition, experience with the following would be considered an asset :

  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Azure Communication Services
  • Node.js and NestJS
  • SQL / Relational Databases
  • Event driven technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ
  • Websockets and WebRTC
  • OAuth 2.0 and JWT
  • CI platforms such as Github Actions, Jenkins
  • CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Ansible
  • Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Azure Technologies such as Azure Communication Services, Functions
  • FHIR
  • Jira and Confluence
  • Compensation and Logistics
