About the Position
Under the direction of the Project Manager / Senior Site Superintendent, the Student Project Coordinator is responsible for learning, by hands on, the technical and clerical duties and coordination required to engage with Site Superintendents and Subcontractors.
As well, Seagate Construction is migrating to a more digital work platform; therefore, learning document control and information flow becomes an important part of this student position.
In order to achieve the fundamental project objectives, the Student Project Coordinator will continually observe the Project Manager and the Site Superintendent as they plan, direct, monitor, and control the on-site activities of Subcontractors and Suppliers.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft programs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Strong organizational, decision making, and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively with Project Managers and Superintendents.

C.E.T. OR C.A.T. Training
