Job Description

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to join Pixieset as a Human Resources Coordinator! You will support Pixieset's recruiting efforts, new employee onboarding, and more.

You will play a critical role in helping to define our culture and make Pixieset one of the best workplaces in Canada. This role is perfect for someone who is self-directed, likes the risks (and rewards) of having lots of autonomy, and is passionate about building a high performance team.

Your responsibilities :

  • Managing job postings across multiple outlets
  • Pre-Screening candidates for various roles
  • Arranging interviews with relevant hiring managers
  • Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process
  • Spearheading new recruiting initiatives
  • Managing candidate reference checks
  • On-boarding new employees
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
  • Organizing company participation in various recruitment events, internally and externally.

    Ideally you :

  • Have professional HR experience and a BS / BA degree or equivalent;
  • Are impeccably organized, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and personal accountability (you take the initiative to make things happen);
  • Are able to maintain professionalism, including the ability to make a good first impression and demonstrate respectful, friendly and welcoming behavior;
  • Are excited and inspired by new technology and eager to incorporate it into your work

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
