Principal tasks :

  • Provide local tech support assistance for our factory partner brands
  • Assist customers in trouble shooting of our HVAC&R equipment brands. This assistance will be provided through phone, video conference and when required travel to job sites.
  • Help resolve technical issues processing of special labour and material claims between contractor, Master Group and the manufacturer partners.
  • Act as technical resource to Master Group Inc. sales teams.
  • Prepare and provide technical training and fulfill the objectives given by the product management director.
  • To professionally represent Master Group Inc’s best interest at all times when interacting with internal teams, external customers and building owners.
  • Requirements :

  • Technical Institute or college diploma in the HVAC&R related field
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of field experience in the HVAC&R business
  • Proficiency with computers and moderate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and manufacturer based software
  • Proficient in service and trouble shooting mechanical equipment controls
  • Fundamental or advanced understanding of electrical wiring schematics
  • Basic ability to read building mechanical plans and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Trouble shooting mechanical HVAC&R equipment and controls
  • Working in a dynamic Team group
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Takes initiative and is resourceful
  • Functioning in a fast-paced environment requiring timeliness
  • Professionalism, diplomacy and courtesy
  • Mobility when required
  • Proficient at writing reports
  • At ease presenting to people on technical and training material
