We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator, Canadian Expenses to join our Accounts Payable team within the Finance group in our Waterloo, ON office.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Processing of employee expense reimbursement in a web-based environment
  • Review and accurate coding of CDN taxes
  • Review and follow-up of expense reports (ER) on hold
  • Communicate with in-house staff to resolve ER issues
  • Run, analyze, reports that aid in ensuring accuracy of data entry
  • Work with Transactional Services Manager to ensure procedures are being followed and in compliance with the GAAP
  • Understanding and application of chart of accounts and its importance
  • Processing high volume of expenses with weekly deadlines
  • Miscellaneous duties and potential cross-over to other Finance tasks
  • Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
  • Experience working with multi-currencies preferred
  • Knowledge of Canadian Sales Taxes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive, motivational attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
