The Shopping Channel is seeking a Director of Ecommerce & User Experience (UX) to join our online team. Reporting to the Senior Director od Digital, the Director of UX will be tasked with continually improving User Experience on theshoppingchannel.
com / tsc.ca and other digital properties with an overall goal of improving digital sales conversion, driving profitable revenue growth and elevate content to entertain, educate and convert.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and energetic leader with strong analytical skills, experience leading teams ideally across both business teams and IT, familiarity with Ecommerce platforms (e.
g. WebSphere, ATG, Salesforce, Adobe or equivalent; Endeca, etc.), working knowledge of back end systems (e.g. pricing feeds, inventory, etc.
experience using web analytics to deeply understand user behaviour and drive short and long term improvements in user experience.
The Director of eCommerce & User Experience will be part of the Ecommerce business team, and will also work closely with the Ecommerce IT team.
to develop a deep understanding of customer behaviour and to drive continuous improvement and revenue growth
develop business cases and other documentation to support capital investments; support development of website enhancements
initiate and drive short, medium- and long-term enhancements to grow sales
