Investigating and resolving PeopleSoft process failures, crashes, or poor system response.
Working with the PeopleSoft Working Team to understand requirements and to design and propose solutions.
Providing time estimates for recommended solutions.
Ensuring solution uses approved Metro Vancouver tools, techniques, and standards.
Preparing technical designs and specifications.
Performing unit testing and functional testing.
Creating technical and user documentation as required.
Mentoring Metro Vancouver’s technical team on new technologies and techniques.
Recommending changes to established methods, integrations, tools, and techniques where applicable.
Developing new PeopleSoft interfaces and maintaining existing interfaces.
Testing and implementing tax updates, patches and upgrades.
Performing as PeopleSoft Application Administrator as required.
Providing PeopleSoft advice and recommendations to other technical teams.
Top Skills Required
Demonstrated knowledge of 9.2 Human Resources, Ben Admin, Candidate Gateway, Payroll, Time and Labour, and 8.56 / 8.57 PeopleTools.
PeopleTools Application Developer Certified Expert.
PeopleSoft Human Resources 9 Consultant Certified Expert.
Experience with PeopleSoft Lifecycle Management and Update Manager
Experience with PUM
Experience with Change Assistant
Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Tools
Experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR.
Experience with Data Mover, Component Interface, COBOL and PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
Experience with PeopleSoft Query and XML Publisher, SQL, and relational databases.
Experience with PeopleSoft Application Administration.
Thorough knowledge of software development methods, practices and procedures.
Ability to prepare technical design and write technical specifications.
Ability to collect, analyze and evaluate information required for programming purposes, to develop logical solutions for assigned problems and to perform the resultant coding and testing.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
