    Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Preparing compilation and review engagements
  • Performing and assisting on audits engagements
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns, and HST returns
  • Providing assistance and support to clients on accounting and bookkeeping issues
  • Proactively follow up with clients and build positive working relationships
  • Effectively respond to requests or queries, and keep the team apprised of any potential issues
  • Participating in practice and professional development initiatives
  • Working on special projects as required
  • A successful candidate will have :

  • Currently pursuing CPA designation or equivalent experience
  • College or university qualification in accounting or equivalent prior experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and using tax preparation software
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
