Le centre de compétences pour la signalisation ferroviaire urbaine est situé au centre-ville de Toronto. Nous sommes le plus grand bureau situé au Canada et nous disposons d’un service pour chaque étape du cycle de vie du développement logiciel (SDLC).

Cela comprend le logiciel, le matériel, la conception des systèmes, la vérification et la validation, les opérations, etc.

Scope of Job

To perform analysis, design and integration activities in the verification of software for train control systems on lab hardware

Key Accountabilities :

  • Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing vital software
  • Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing non-vital software
  • Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing infrastructure software
  • Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing network interconnections
  • Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing software and hardware interfaces
  • Integrates multiple subsystems together to verify solution meets performance and functional targets
  • Develops tools to automate checks and integration points
  • Produces the software requirements analysis, designs, codes, debugs, write test procedures and tests software code used for integration
  • Reviews software requirements analysis, designs, code, test procedures and test results
  • Perform engineering testing in the lab and desktop environments and investigates problems reported from the field.
  • Prepares reports, giving findings on problems
  • Business Context

  • To integrate safety critical train control software following the company defined processes and procedures to the safety critical standards while meeting the scheduled deadlines.
  • To integrate safety critical train control hardware following the company defined processes and procedures to the safety critical standards while meeting the scheduled deadlines.
  • To understand the scope of work for our department and produce artefacts which fulfil this requirement.

  • SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

    Primary Education background and complementary training (qualifications / certifications) :

  • B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Years of experience :

  • 3-8 years working experience
  • Specific experience :

  • Knowledge of software development environment (desktop simulator, target simulator.)
  • Knowledge of standard networking concepts (subnets / protocols / utilities)
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration and Windows power user
  • Ability to write robust scripts and lightweight applications
  • Knowledge of railway signalling techniques
