This position contributes to Nestle Professionals success by achieving sales and profit objectives through growing and retaining existing food service business by leveraging strategic relationships within Edmonton and Northern Alberta territory.
This role will be of interest to an assertive results-focused sales professional who has a demonstrated ability and record of accomplishment of delivering exceptional results.
The purpose of the role is manage customer relationships contract negotiations, contract management and renewals and works collaboratively with other field roles to ensure highest customer satisfaction.
Conducts Business reviews (as required based on size of customer) to discover customer priorities and identify opportunities for Nestle Professional and our platforms to maximize sales.
Analyze customer performance (financially and operationally) to provide consultation and insights to drive portfolio results.
Conducts and maintains regular quality assurance audits to ensure product and brand quality. Maintains accurate trade asset records, coaching and at times performing preventative maintenance to minimize trade asset spend.
Planning for replacements and equipment forecasting as needed.Provide training and support for all platforms, working collaboratively with BDR on new accounts and opening procedures.
Provide update and refreshes as required.Works collaboratively and participates in effective and strategic communication with cross functional teams including Business Development Representative, Customer Service, Trade Assets and equipment teams, National Accounts, Marketing, Finance and third party vendors for customer support.
Maintain accurate customer data records and details through Customer Management system.As required, support new business development and marketing initiatives.
QualificationsDegree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 2 years of successful direct sales experience required, preferably within the foodservice industryPrevious foodservice culinary / beverage operational experience a definite asset.
Excellent presentation skills combined with strong communication and negotiation skillsComputer literacy, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Strong analytical skills, combined with a solid understanding of the sales processHighly organized, self-motivated.Must reside within the territory and travel, as required based on territory needs.
