Senior developer to build, enhance and support the Cash PB related applications and processes in Prime Services

The successful candidate will act as a key development team member for the Cash Prime Brokerage platform in the Prime Services group.

This involves working with business stake holders, product development group, CashPB Business Analysts and the Application Support Team both onshore and offshore.

Candidate should be comfortable in supporting business stakeholders.

Major Accountabilities

Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

Understand all technical flows.

Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts

Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills :

1) 5 + years Unix / Shell Scripting

2) 5 + years Database development with Oracle PL / SQL

3) 5 + years Perl Scripting

4) A basic (2 years) level of Java expertise in both server side and front end (Swing) development

5) Excellent communication skills : able to clearly communicate technical requirements to business and BA’s regularly

Nice-To-Have Skills :

Previous Prime Brokerage or Capital Markets Post Trade processing experience. is a plus

Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Eclipse is a plus.

Ability to communicate with key business and technology stakeholders on a daily basis

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

5-7 years minimum relevant working experience
