We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and strategic Retail Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to join the retail brokerage team in Toronto .

The ideal candidate excels in managing a high-volume of projects in a fast-paced environment, has solid design skills, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where strategic and proactive solutions are celebrated and rewarded and has the willingness to take on the player coach role as necessary.

The Retail Marketing Manager will report to the Vice President of Retail Business Development and work closely with the National Director of Marketing for Canada and the Retail Regional Marketing Manager in the U.

S. providing marketing support for the market’s business development and transaction team.

Responsibilities & Duties

Marketing Planning & Execution Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that anticipate the needs of the market, as well as for each specific property or client portfolio within their market.

Ensure that appropriate input is secured from representatives of key groups within the business. Execution of these plans may include digital (e.

g. email, social, online) and traditional media, events, public relations, sponsorships, and marketing communications.

Business Development Support Manage and participate in the delivery of best-in-class new business proposals and presentations leveraging graphic design skills, branding expertise and content development.

Event Planning & Execution Lead the planning and activation for all retail-based events and sponsorships. Develop planning protocols and post-

mortem measurement processes. Ensure effective brand awareness and consistency across all messaging at events.

Marketing Collateral Adhering to the firm’s brand standards, conceptualize, update and manage production of traditional and digital marketing collateral for the market.

Project Management Manage workflow process of pitches, tour decks etc. to ensure appropriate prioritization of projects, production and operation, including assigning appropriate personnel, quality control, and consistent timely delivery.

Leadership & People Management Lead the local retail’s support team to achieve established objectives. Ensure effective execution against plans and budget, leading and mentoring staff, emphasize proactive behavior, and build and improve process.

Relationship Building Establish strong, trust-based, working relationships with the Retail team, business leaders, National Marketing team and US counterparts, as well as key external organizations and affiliations.

Qualifications :

  • Significant experience in business development, having worked in collaboration with transaction professionals and senior management, to provide strategy development and tactical advisement to win new business.
  • Solid understanding of retail asset-types and the retail real estate industry is an asset.
  • Proven experience leading a high-powered team with demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proof-reading skills, along with creative concept and art direction skills, including graphic design capabilities.
  • In-Design, PhotoShop, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, AEM skills a must.

  • Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in the digital marketing arena, including social media, email, mobile marketing and local website content and differentiation.
  • Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deliver on deadline and demonstrate strong attention-to-detail.
  • Understanding of and commitment to professional client service (internal and external).
  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.
  • Role model of JLL values.
