Field Duties (70- 80% of work time) :
Must have a labor intensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops.
Perform inspections, tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers.
Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
Adhere to all company and industry standard / regulations (OHS, CSA S37-18, etc.)
Office Duties (20- 30% of work time) :
Prepare field reports by using data gathered while in the field.
Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD.
Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
Review peer work product.
Post-secondary education in the field of Engineering or Engineering Technology.
3+ years of experience in Communication tower inspections required.
Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent drawing software preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
Have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
