Outside Sales Representative Sudbury & Northern Ontario. For the wholesale of millwork, building materials, various hardware and equipment to hardware retailers and customer facing distribution networks.
Working within an assigned territory of Parry Sound, Sudbury, and Northern Ontario corridors.
Must live in the Greater Sudbury Region or willing to relocate.
The Outside Sales Representative reports to the Regional Sales Managers and Branch Operations Manager and is responsible for all sales activities and management of customer accounts with in a defined territory.
This position establishes and manages strong customer relationships in order to drive sales growth and pursues and develops new business / customers in an effort to support the Company's vision for growth and profitability.
Provide consultative sales approach - accurately assessing customer objectives and needs and creating a value driven solution for both the customer and their organization
Meet or exceed challenging yet realistic performance targets, while maintaining customer satisfaction and overall results.
Service existing customer base and grow both market share and wallet share in the territory
Identify and prioritize high potential sales opportunities
Prospect potential customers with enthusiasm
Keep up to date on industry trends, technologies and advancements
Industry networking to maximize contact sharing and potential business opportunities
Build rapport & trust with external and internal customers
Coordinate and manage all resources to meet the needs of the client
Work with extensive company planning and marketing software
High school diploma required
Degree in Business, Sales and Marketing is an asset
Industry experience or a strong desire to work in this field
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
Excellent presentation skills
Energetic sales professional with a strong work ethic
Self disciplined / high sense of urgency
Proficiency using computer applications, including Microsoft Office
Strong time management skills
Own vehicle and personal computer required
