We are currently seeking a Management Trainee for our Corporate Head Office in Burnaby.
The Management Trainee will be responsible for working alongside various managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a manager.
Duties include learning how to manage parts and service departments, sales consultant training, and other projects as assigned by the VP of Canadian Operations.
This is primarily a 48 month training position. The successful imcumbent must be willing to relocate as required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Post-secondary education in sales and marketing preferred
Post-secondary degree or diploma in business preferred
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is preferred
Valid Driver’s Licence required
Valid Passport required
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry short distances;
Must be able to climb into and out of commercial transport vehicles
Must be able to sit for long periods
Must be able to operate a keyboard and other common office equipment
Must be able to walk around the dealership.
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
Some travel will be required on all forms of commercial transportation to review potential purchases, attend training courses or meetings, evaluate existing inventory, or meet with current and potential customers
