Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Preferred Qualification and Experience
4 5 years’ branch banking experience, with exposure to frontline and customer service.
Knowledge / Technical Skills / Expertise
Good knowledge of banking practices and procedures
Knowledge of compliance management processes
Understanding of the CONNECT (employee engagement) methodology
Comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures relating to the enquiries function.
Comprehensive knowledge of the retail banking products and services offered by the branch, as well as the procedures underpinning these.
Thorough grasp of customer care principles.
Knowledge of the New Delivery System (NDS) and on-line enquiries relating to own function.
Basic knowledge of products offered by other Standard Bank Group Companies.
Basic knowledge of functions / activities of other branch departments and support entities.
Knowledge of the Code of Banking Practice.
Understanding of service and sales initiatives.
Knowledge of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act.
Understanding and support of the bank’s multi-channel environment.
