River Rock Casino Resort is currently recruiting for the position of Resort . Under the supervision of the Chef Concierge, this position is responsible for ensuring our guests receive Four Diamond Service Excellence in all aspects of engagement as a Professional Hotelier and Service Ambassador for our Resort.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Facilitating guests’ requests quickly and efficiently with a Four Diamond Service Acumen.
  • Handling guests’ issues with empathy and professionalism that is in line with our River Rock Experience initiative.
  • Strong Knowledge of our Regions Restaurants and multicultural dining options.
  • Exceptional Knowledge of our Resort, its Culinary offerings, Promotions and Packages.
  • Arranging any and all transportation methods whether land, sea or air.
  • Strong Knowledge of Vancouver and the surrounding Region, Giving Directions via all modes of transportation, offers guidance and insight on Tourism related events.
  • Strong Knowledge of Courier Procedures, booking of parcels, tracking and customs policies and procedures.
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees).
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications :

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time; must be a problem solver.
  • Strong understanding of the Lower Mainland, sights, sounds and attractions.
  • Knowledge of city and province’s transportation system.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese an asset
  • Computer literacy in MS Office; Opera an asset.
  • Concierge experience an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Affiliation with Les Clefs d’Or an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development.
